Privacy Policy

Your grades are your business. This policy explains what GradeCalcOnline collects, and what it never touches.

Overview

GradeCalcOnline ("we", "this site") provides free grade and GPA calculators at gradecalconline.com. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the site. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, so the grades you enter never reach us at all.

Information the calculators do not collect

Every calculator on this site performs its math locally on your device using JavaScript in your browser. When you type scores, weights, or credit hours into a calculator, those numbers are processed on your own computer or phone and are never transmitted to our servers, because no server is involved in the calculation. We do not see, store, or have any access to the grades you enter.

The site offers no accounts, no signups, and no profiles. We do not ask for your name, your school, or any academic records. The shareable result links encode calculation inputs directly into the link address itself, so sharing a result passes through no database of ours.

Cookies and analytics

Like most websites, we may use basic analytics to understand overall usage, such as which pages are visited and which calculators are used most. This kind of measurement is aggregated and does not identify you personally. If analytics tools are enabled, they may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the calculators will keep working either way.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising, which keeps every calculator free. In the future we may display ads served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our pages. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings page. We do not control these third-party cookies; their own privacy policies apply.

Third-party links

Our content may link to external sites, such as school or learning-platform resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies when you visit them.

Children's privacy

GradeCalcOnline is a general study tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the calculators transmit nothing to us, there is no personal data from young visitors for us to hold in the first place. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our contact form, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

Since calculator inputs never leave your device, there is no grade data on our systems to secure or to breach. For the limited information that may reach us, such as a message sent through the contact page, we take reasonable steps to protect it, though no method of internet transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows, for example if we add new features or advertising partners. The current version will always be posted on this page, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Questions

If you have questions about this privacy policy or how your information is handled, please contact us and we will respond.
